Watched videos/shows showing as unwatched

for the past few weeks some videos/shows that I’ve watched are showing as unwatched. Seems random. It shows correctly as watched on the day but then later after powering off and back on, its showing them as unwatched.

It might be related to this ?

I don’t think so as the video/show is actually showing as unplayed. If I press play next episode it plays the video I already watched instead of the next one
