Server Version#: 1.23.2.4656
Player Version#: 4.57.4
Server has been happily running for a year at original location on docker, with reverse proxy for remote access.
I have just moved house and trying to re-setup my server. New ISP is double NATing me - bleh.
I have unclaimed the server, de-authorised access all my devices, reclaimed my server. I can access my libraries through host-ip:32400/web with no issues.
However, I can’t access my libraries through the app (on local network) or via app.plex.tv, which gives this error:
app.plex.tv is unable to connect to "daisy" securely
Server → Settings → Network has Secure Connections set to preferred.
Did you get a new router from your new ISP?
Any weird settings that might block certain communication or device detection/discovery (could be certain ports being blocked for whatever reasons). Edit: I take it the server and clients are still inside the same subnet? I’ve seen users run their docker in a separate subnet and configure Plex to recognize their standard network/subnet to be part of their LAN (if your new router created a new subnet, that might no longer match the configuration in Settings > [Server Name] > Network > LAN Networks)
For the time being… many clients allow specifying the local IP address of a server.
Yes I have a new router. What are the settings to look out for? I have moved from pfsense to the ISP-provided router. I have access to the router but I can’t replace it.
Server and clients are all on the same subnet. How can I specify a local IP in the Android client?
