Web based LG tv not able to connect server after plex update

Hi, after an update my plex media server is now not able to connect to my LG web based tv. The message I get is “server unavailable or unreachable”. I’ve done all the usual fixes’ - unplugged the tv- updated the servers - rebooted the router - linked plex to my computer- turned off my firewall and pop up blocker- used the repair tool in plex, and still cannot connect to the server. I’ve gone and deleted the tv and firefox devices and tried to connect - but no. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the plex app. I’ve entered in my ip address and still it will not connect. Online through plex my server is available. So I can use it on my pc. Can anyone help?

With your Servers network settings, make sure you have your network address that are allowed without Authorization.

Enable Local area network discovery Enabled (GDM)

Enable Relay

Secure connections -Preferred

Save

Once you have establish connection, make sure you visit your LG client settings and enter manual server addresses and In general settings of client, scroll to bottom and allow insecure connections Always and fallback to insecure connections. Also if preferred, allow auto login. The settings are found in Avatar top of menu Home Screen in the client.

I’d like to thank you for your support. Unfortunately that did not work. Curiously I wonder how before the update year ending 2019, my plex worked fine? And after the update the plex app only recognizes plex internet movies etc? But - on my LG TV Video App my Plex server, with my server name is listed and able to be accessed?

Am I able to role back or reinstall the plex update to say, from the beginning of 2019?
