My PC works fine, but my when my son’s computer (tried multiple browsers, as well as incognito modes) browses to my server address http://my.plex.ip:32400/web/ it automatically logs him in under my admin account (I’ve never entered my credentials on his computer), and when clicking switch user, it automatically redirects back to the admin account summary page.
Has anybody seen this before? Any helpful hints to try? Thanks!
Check that you in Settings/Network/List of IP addresses and networks that are allowed without auth haven’t added his IP address or an IP net he belongs to
I will mess around with this setting. Currently my entire /24 subnet is defined in the LAN setting. The strange part is that all other machines (managed accounts) are required to login with their pin, it is ONLY his computer that authenticates without anything. I see an update just became available for my Plex server this morning, so I’m going to try to update it first, and see what happens. Thanks so much for the quick reply!
