Web playback almost always shows a running time of 2:00:00

Almost every time I watch something via Plex Web (the version included with the server locally), it lists the playback duration as 2:00:00.

Scrubbing within the (condensed) episode duration works fine. Scrubbing outside of it leads to endless spinning wheel as it fails to scrub. When the episode reaches the end, it doesn’t automatically move on to the next episode and just spins a loading wheel.

This issue has been present for at least half a decade now.

This issue has previously been reported multiple times but the threads I found were automatically closed with no acknowledgement so I can’t add this to there, hence a new thread.
