Pretty sad this thread is a couple years old and no action from Plex. What happened to the customer is always right? We are currently on the yearly subscription but probably won’t renew again and just go back to the local network with VLC player. Please, please fix this already!!!
I’m sure I have said before that it adds insult to injury that when you press play on the next episode it gives you a popup stating it wil clear changes to the queue

Um, no. This is the episode I expected to be next in my queue before it was rudely interrupted.
If you insist on stopping my queue after 3 episodes at least have the courtesy not to tell me I am the one changing the now non-existant queue.
Let me keep a queue going forever if I want it to, please, without intervention, instead of a 2 hour limit.
Another + vote for this. My music is actually Videos that I’ve collected from YT, and listen to at work and home. Very annoying that I have to hit next when it pauses after an hour or two.
I’m wondering if it’s even worth leaving this reply. Plex hasn’t even bothered to come in and say something in over two years. Pretty rude. I hope it’s not that way in general because I’m a plex pass member also. This feature makes no practical sense for this app without a way to turn it off. It’s not like plex is paying/getting paid on a per watch basis. There’s no tv ratings they are trying to achieve. Not unless they just want accurate play counts as statistics to encourage investment. If that’s the case, then I think it’s pretty rude to plex pass members. I’m sure Plex gets enough sellable personal data from us all than to also need to torture paying members just for one more statistic. PLEASE STOP THE TORTURE. I’m tired of clicking pause then play after every single video. Some are short and it’s highly annoying.
Raised Feature request Configure how many episodes/tracks will play before stop
This thread had not been tagged for the plex team’s attention.
Go vote or OP tag this as a feature request so we can vote on this. If that happens I will delete mine as duplicate.
I didn’t know either but now I do. The Plex team have not been listening as this is not tagged as anything but a user conversation.
I apologise if I have maligned the team for not listening.
Cheers,
Bode.
