The web search function in the new version 2.7.0 finds almost nothing 
The other apps are not affected. It is apparently only the web player.
You’ll need to provide more details than that. What exactly are you doing, and what are you seeing?
For example: I’m looking for “The Fighters” and in the results is only “The Fighters 3”. But i have also “The Fighters” and “The Fighters 2”. Another example: “Star Wars” - he finds just the 7th part, but not the parts 1 - 6.
The meta tags are entered definitely correct! This problem only occurs in the Web search since version 2.7.0. In the other apps (Android, iOS) he finds all parts of “The Fighters” or “Star Wars”.
As I said: It should be no problem with the tags, because on Android and iOS it will work properly. It is only the web search version 2.7.0 affected - previously here also everything worked.

I’m having the same problem. I’ve attached a screenshot of the M’s in my movie library and you can see 5 different Madagascar movies. When I put Madagascar in the search bar, it only finds “Islands of Lemurs: Madagascar 3D” which is in a different library. This behavior is only on the Plex web client. Search finds all of them from both libraries in PHT Windows, Roku and Android.
I also have a second searching issue. Roku and PHT Windows only return 15 movies in the search while the web app returns more. When I search for the Scooby-Doo movies on the Roku or PHT, it doesn’t show them all because there are more than 15. I have to go to the movie library and go to the S’s but that’s not great since “Aloha Scooby-Doo” is under A, not S. My only remedy is to put the sort as “Scooby-Doo Aloha” so that it shows up with the S’s. This requires pre-planning and knowledge of what I will look for but not find in the future.
I need to add some more info to my post. All of my movies are in 2 Libraries. The first Library is called “3D Movies” and contains the 5 movies I have 3D versions of. The other library is called “Movies”. If the item I am searching for is found in the “3D Movies” library, Plex web does not search in the “Movies” library. I tested this by searching for words in the titles of the 5 “3D Movies” items that are also contained in titles in items in the “Movies” library. 100% of the time it only found the “3D Movies” item and nothing from the “Movies” library. I am using Plex Web Server version 2.7.0 hosted on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and I access it from Windows 7.
This is obviously a defect, so is this the right place to post this or should I post it somewhere else?
When I add any new film into a library, he suddenly finds the other titles in the same library again
