Followup for others who stumble upon this. Looks like there is a PMS bug that has broken the View State Copy function. A bug report has been logged with the Plex team.

Iā€™m having an issue with the Find Media tool where scanning any library seems to stall near the end - the status just gets stuck.
Here are some examples - any well known issues/workarounds?

Switch WebTool-NG to Silly log level, and restart.
Then reproduce, and upload both WebTools-NG logs as well as Plex Media Server logs in a zip

Sorry for the delayed reply - Iā€™ve been cleaning out a lot of old library files and updating others. After a day it the Find Media tool seems to be working correctly now. Thanks for your response.

Hi dane22. I installed the WebTools-NG on Windows to connect to a PMS in the local home network, and I want to export only the movies that have a certain genre, or that are in a certain collection.

I did not find any option in the GUI to do that.
Is that possible using WebTools-NG?

WebTools-NG does not support filters while exporting, so your option is to export all into a CSV file, and afterwards delete the unwanted entries

Hi, Iā€™ve searched but not had much luck. What do the options in Global Settings / PMS Settings do?

Are they controlling the timeouts for only the Webtools connection? Or are they setting that timeout value for the Plex Server for all clients?

Itā€™s the timeout for Webtools-NG, while communicating with your server

Looks like the error affecting View State Sync is back. WebTools-NG v1.2.1.f962812 and PMS Version 1.40.0.7775

I downloaded and installed the non-beta versionā€¦ I noticed it is from 2022ā€¦ I assume beta is current? is there a feature list, fix list?
