weird bug with skype.

when seeing a video in plexconnect and someone calling me on skype which is installed and turned on on the same computer, plexconnect quits the video and in the left side down of the screen it writes untitled/untitled 1 i don't remember and have the music without artwork icon. airplay pr something like that isn't enable at all. photos at post #7

  • The PlexConnect version number. If using Github source then a time and date of download (look at the creation date of the folder) and if you are using any testing branch e.g. the Elan/PlexInc one. monday 00:00 8.7.2013

  • The content of your 'Settings.cfg' file (if you do not have this file you are running an old version, please update):

i had the issue with skype that the webserver could not bind on port 80

but when you go to skype options then under the connections tab there is a setting to use or not use port 80 for some skype BS...

i unticked that and since then no more issues for me ...

i'm on mac and no connections tab in the preferences of skype.

there's advanced tab that looks like this:

Hmm i did not realise they did not have this option on the OSX version.

I have asked in the Skype forums for an answer as it is bad behaviour by the Skype application (a act that they have recognised on the windows version and given you an option to turn it off).

don't panic, i have seen all plex episodes, plex don't know it :)

i kept it but all the ports on my router are open so it's not it ..

What do you mean all ports are open?

They should only be open if running a DMZ, which is a very bad idea and especially if you are running a DNS server.

Try setting up port forwarding for that port to the local IP of the PlexConnect device.
