Hello, a recent update has caused an issue when managing shows from the web through the Chrome browser. I try to delete a news show I record and receive a new message box that asks me to “Select a File” as shown below. I’ve never seen this and don’t know which one to select. I tried it once but don’t know what was deleted, if anything. Thanks.
That happens if there is more than one media file connected to the same poster.
In this case, your server has recorded the same-titled program twice. Maybe because you told it to record “new and repeated airings”. Maybe it is a daily show.
You will have to watch both versions to know which is which.
There is a “Watch Version” command in most clients.
Thank you for the reply OttoKerner. It is a daily show, but I have been recording it for years and have not had this issue happen until today. I watched today’s and clicked the menu to delete it from the menu below, which appears once you open the episode, and is uniquely dated.
as well as this one, which is a different view of the uniquely dated episode. Is that the same as a version?
