Just want to say thank you for helping Plex bring the app to my Xbox One. Been hoping for this day for a while, especially after Build '14. Now can't wait until the Xbox One gets the Windows 10 / Threshold update and we get truly universal apps.
On a side note, any chance you guys (Microsoft) are close to releasing an HBO Go app for Xbox One / Windows / Windows Phone. It's kind of crazy that it hasn't launched yet
As you are probably aware, we can't discuss releases outside of official channels ;)
However, please do log your requests on http://xbox.uservoice.com/ as we try to build what our users want, that's why we keep updating so quickly and why all of these codecs etc are coming to Xbox. Plex was one of the top requests, and now we have it. That and I really, really, really wanted Plex on Xbox One so did my best to help make it happen!
I imagine this will help sway a lot of people on the fence about weather they want an XBONE or PS4. Way to go Microsoft and Plex team! Can't wait to try this on my 360. Only thing XBONE is missing now is support for WMC but that's another story.

Thats a shame. The screenshots he showed of his app looked a ton better than this app that was released today which is a bit bare bones. Can you at least add all the cool Kinect stuff he was working on.

I’m sure this is a fantastic team work with team from 2 different company. Looking forward to see more codecs being supported. Once everything is there don’t forget to inform everyone with good marketing. This is a true and strong advantage over competitors.
I have a question regarding privacy. What data is being sent to Microsoft servers dying my Plex session?

Fair enough. Can the same be said for the 360 version? 
Steve, I just have one question... When will the Plex app (and other apps) get access to 24p output? It can't be that tough to solve, right? (since the blu-ray app can do it)
