if playing music, whether a straight ‘play’ selection or ‘shuffle’ the music will only play for a few tracks at most before stopping. sometimes only one track, at most three or four.
if relevant or useful to identify the issue, when returning to the screen, which will usually have gone to the firestick screensaver or screen sleep, the track in view will be the first one that was played in that sequence, not the one after which the music stopped.
this applies to music files only, the auto ‘next programme’ works fine for video.
music plays as expected using the android app on phone, so appears to be a firestick player issue.
Not sure this is just a Firestick player issue. After 6 years of absolutely trouble free Plex Streaming (except for 2 years ago when Google sent updates to Chromecast Audio devices with broke things for a bit), I am having the same issue with my Google stuff whether streaming music from Android or IOS devices.
The music will either stop mid track (after 3 or 4 tracks) or just won’t go onto the next track. Sometimes the gap between tracks is 10-15 seconds.
No settings have changed, the internal network is the same (and can still happily handle multiple 4k video streams etc) and all player apps are completely up to date.
As you note, everything plays fine on the devices themselves (android & IOS).
