I have just installed Plex Media Server. I have populated it with Books (Under Home PC Library > Audiobooks) and music (Under Home PC Library > Music). I have installed the Plex skill for Alexa. I can actually tell Alexa to open Plex, which it does.
And that is the end of it.
No matter WHAT I tell Alexa to play using Plex, it either wants to play some other music NOT found in my library, or gives me an error of some kind, or plays silence. It will find the fact I have Audiobooks in my library, suggest an Author, and when I say yes, it does nothing…
No sounds.
No anything.
Let’s suppose I have an audiobook entitled “Seize the Enigma” in my AUDOBOOK library. What command would I issue to play it, and what command would I later use to resume playing it where I left off?
And, also, as I stated I have music in my Music folder/catalog/directory. If I wanted to play my music, at random, what command would I issue to Alexa?
Thanks!
Edit: New error–it is now saying that I don’t have any media added to my Plex Media Server.
And, yes, I do. At least when I open my media on the plex Media Server website, it sure shows all I added.
