Did you start playback of a single track or pressed Play on the poster of the album?
The top screenshot is a recently added album the bottom is couple yrs old album if that makes any difference
Hello both…
I noticed over the past few weeks that the ‘sweet fades’ option seems to have disappeared from my Android Plex App.
Was this intentional? I’m on v8.0.2.17816
Try playing a shuffle of a playlist (or your whole library).
If you play an album in-order, sweet fades disable automatically.
Why would it do that …so sweet fades goes away when I want to listen to dark side of the moon…isnt that the whole point of sweet fades
Tdsotm has all it’s tracks fade into each other anyway. You want “gapless” with that album, which is exactly what happens.
So I have to shuffle to get sweet fades? I was wondering why my PlexAmp had so many quiet gaps. I usually listen to albums in track order, even if gapless. Any way to trick this out?
Yes. If you’re playing an album, sweet fades are automatically disabled and replaced by “gapless” mode.
If the original CD or the file has silence at its end, the silence will be “played” in album mode.
You could add the album to a playlist and play that instead, to get sweet fades.
Thanks. I thought my PlexAmp was “broken”. Playlist is a decent workaround.
