Plex and VPNs (multiple interrfaces) have never worked well together when the VPN is on the host with PMS.
The default ETH adapter(s) with the TUN adapter leaves a routing table ambiguity.
PMS does not bind() to outbound adapters . It only prefers inbound adapters.
(I wished it was different but that’s what it is).
Because of this, your choices are:
- Setup static route(s) for Plex
- Move the VPN to the modem/router thereby keeping PMS completely oblivious to the presence of a VPN.
