hey all im looking at buying the pi3 today from pimoroni just for the reason i like the look of there cases. What power supply and SD card would i need for Rasplex don’t mind paying for something decent. And would the heatsink be better for the pi3. Heard it can get quite hot
Power supply of at least 2.5A, the official RPi3 one from Raspberry Pi Foundation is OK, I think Pimoroni sell that one.
Class 10 microSD card, 8Gb is fine, Sandisk Extreme recommended.
Heatsink optional, just don’t put the RPi in a cupboard or drawer.
Other things, ethernet cable, HDMI cable, make sure they are both decent makes, not el cheapo ones.

Any Recommendations please Ned on Ethernet and HDMI ill be using it via powerline adapters its for the tv in living room the router is upstairs. Would a dual band router be better or 2.4ghz be ok at the moment. My router is only 2.4 at moment
If using Powerline adapters then dual band is not necessary that only applies to WiFi. HDMI cable should be at least 1.4 spec or better.
