Plex Media Player and the Plex for Windows available from the download page are 2 different things.
The current version for Plex for Windows is 1.3.1.
Plex Media Player can be obtained from the forum at Plex Media Player. PMP has 2 modes, TV and Desktop and they have different versions. We typically refer to the TV mode version which is 2.41.0.
