Has anyone noticed the TVDB series data for “What’s New Scooby-Doo?” is wrong? There are 14 episodes in season 1, TVDB / What’s New Scooby-Doo? only has 13. The series names also start going wrong after episode 9. Far as I can tell, the only site that has it right is Wikipedia / What’s New Scooby-Doo?.
For example. The TVDB has s01e10 listed as “Toy Scary Boo.” However, if you watch the episode it is clearly “A Scooby-Doo Christmas.”
I had the same problem with The Scooby-Doo Show and The New Scooby-Doo Movies.
I typically use MediaRenamer to ensure correct file names, but it’s useless if the data Plex is pulling from TVDB is not accurate.
I spoke too soon. All 3 seasons are incorrectly named at the TVDB.
TVDB is very adamant about it being the way something originally aired not the way they may have been released on DVD or rebroadcast. Seems to treat the christmas episode as special not part of regular season (they will never go by wikipedia)
You can always add/edit the metadata data manually on your server.
Maybe they are adamant about copying and pasting, because TMBDs episode list is identical to the order they appear on the DVD. Weird.

Seconded. I also have What’s New Scooby Doo, and I’ve also made peace that it’s easier to accept the TVDB numbering, even if incorrect. Not that I’m happy about it.
Cheer up, though. The numbering for The Jetsons is far more botched, including incorrect airdates causing the episodes to be completely in the wrong order. It was physically painful to give the episodes incorrect numbering, but in the end it was easier.
