When Automatic Login Enabled - Says Offline When Not

First time poster, long-time life-long user :slight_smile:

I have a weird error. On one of my Android TV’s, if I enable automatic login, I can never switch users. When I return to Plex, it says I’m offline so I cannot switch users. That’s not true, I have ethernet right to my network.

In this case, I must kill Plex, open it up, then logout the logged in user, and then I can log into a different account.

This seems to be an Android TV issue—it doesn’t happen on my Google streamer.

I’ve turned off automatic login to see if that fixes the issue. If it does, perhaps that’s a better option than automatic login, since I seem to be switching accounts often. This issue has been going on a while now, at least a year. I just wanted to flag it as a potential bug and to see if anyone else has this issue.

How do you set the user to auto-login to a specific tv? I’ve been trying to find out how to do this… happy to test it once I do, I have 2 TCL Google TVs (Android TV) I want to do this one, each with different users.

There is a setting in the client to remember last login or show login screen.

Both settings still have the problem. I cannot switch users with it killing plex in app settings. This is really frustrating, because this is difficult for most of my family to do.

Only one TV does this. And it’s a Plex bug. Internet is rock solid.
