When Automatic Sign in is disabled, an option to not require PIN when returning to app from screensaver

If I’m already in the app I don’t want to have to enter my PIN again.

I use an old plasma screen TV for instance, so enabling a screensaver with a short-ish timer on my Roku is important. As a result, whenever Plex’s Automatic sign-in is disabled, I end up having to enter my PIN constantly. Whenever I’m in the app and it goes to screensaver I have to enter my PIN.

I’d love an option to disable that. Require the PIN when entering Plex from the platform’s home screen, don’t otherwise. When I’m not using Plex I exit the app. If I’m in the app I’m in the app and don’t want to be prompted to login again.

I was looking everywhere in the app for an option to do this. We often have to pause during watching, to deal with kids, or bathroom breaks, or whatever. And then I have to log back in when I come back, with that terrible pin screen that displays the pin to everyone as noted elsewhere.

I want a timeout, adjustable to at least 60 minutes or even more preferably. Once I have the app logged in, especially if a stream has started, I should not have to put my pin back in just because I paused for 5 minutes.

Didn’t notice this was an issue until recently because I only added pin controls recently. But now finding the downsides, and this is a big one.
