When can i control plex via my voice to play in smart home?
What Smart Home platform do you have in mind and what functionality are you missing?
You should already be able to control players using Alexa. I know I’ve been working with Plexamp and Siri… iirc I’ve also seen posts about triggering certain commands through Google Voice/Assistant.

The Google API at the moment afaik does not allow for thing like Play movie X on Plex server.
We would need to give Google searchable access to your PMS which we cannot do due to rules of privacy policy where we cannot share your data with other entities. but we are checking every so often to see if they have updated in a manner we can user but nothing yet afaik
I think you can do things generic things like if playing you can just simply say “hey Google tell {andriod device} stop” but that is it just controlling the system in general like if you hit stop on remote.
