When casting, Media progress bar does not work

Server Version#: 1.41.3.9314
Player Version#: 4.141.0 works. 4.142.2 fails.

When I cast to another player or device, the media progress bar does not work.
The video plays to the cast device, but the casting device does not show any progress.

And it is a little more complicated than simply never working:

  1. When casting from the server pc local web player at http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html#!/, web player version 4.141.0 is loaded, and the progress bar WORKS when casting.
  2. But when casting from the server pc local web player at https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!, web player version 4.142.2 is loaded, and the progress bar FAILS when casting.
  3. When casting from a different PC on the network at http://[plex server IP]:32400/web/index.html#!/, web player version 4.141.0 is loaded and the progress bar FAILS when casting.
  4. When casting from a different PC on the network at https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/, web player version 4.142.2 is loaded, and the progress bar FAILS when casting.
