When left blank where is the default Transcode directory pointing to?

NAS: Unraid 6.7.2
Plex Server Version#: 1.17.0.1841

Wondering if someone can explain where is the transcode folder pointing to when left blank on Official Plex Unraid Docker?

I had it set to a directory but was getting “There was a transcode error” but after removing and leaving it blank recordings are now working fine. I just wanted to know where it was pointing to. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
