Recently, I am trying to share my plex pass with my friends through Plex Home, but I found that the PIN can be easily cracked using brute force. My friend uses Python to send network requests to crack my PIN. Can you add When the user tries too many times, the account is automatically locked to avoid exhaustion.
Your friends are trying to crack your account?
Don’t do that. The security model for Plex Home (and Managed Users) is only suitable for use on devices you personally own and control, and for immediate home/family members that you trust.
Don’t invite other people into your Plex Home. And don’t log onto other people’s devices with your account. And don’t authorize other people’s devices with “link” codes.
Other people should get their own accounts. You can share content with them.
The Plex Home feature is intended for people that physically live together.

You’re using your account wrong and you if you don’t, I personally think you should have your account suspended.
