When viewing live TV through iOS app, skipping back works, but not skipping forward

I’m watching live TV, not something I’ve scheduled to record.

If I skip back 10 seconds, that works fine. But then when I try to skip forward to get back to live or closer to live, it instead keeps resetting to the beginning of when I started watching.

This happens regardless of whether I hit the 30-sec fwd skip button or drag the scrubber or hit the forward arrow. All three result in a reset to the beginning of my viewing period.

The only way I can get back to live is if I exit viewing completely and start again fresh from the program guide.

I’m using the latest server and the latest iOS clients.

I’m still having this issue today. Unfortunately the skip back/forward buttons are very unreliable on iOS when watching live tv. I almost always need to X out of the stream and restart it from scratch to get back to Live if I’ve time shifted in any way.

Is anyone else having a similar experience? I’m wondering if there’s something in my configuration causing this instead of a bug in the platform.
