Right now, based on Local Files for TV Show Trailers and Extras | Plex Support , there’s a lack of consistency about whether TV show “extras” can or can’t be seen on any given device. Since I tend to buy entire series of shows, they’re loaded with far more than just episodes. Those bloopers or making of vids are just as interesting to me as the episodes. I can add them to my library, but I can’t watch them because they aren’t showing up on either my FireTV or Plex Web Server. Yes, they all have the proper extensions. I spent a lot of work getting my library together, and I’d like to be able to fully access it.
YES this situation is utterly ridiculous! There are instructions on how to setup TV extras, but none work!
Only specials in the TV database website show up and that is never mentioned on the Plex instructions.
This feature is working according to to the Plex instructions BUT IT HASN’T FOR YEARS. AND NO RESPONSE FROM PLEX. WHY PLEASE, IT’S A SIMPLE FIX.
