Setting aside the fact that it feels like I am paying PLEX to be a beta tester, I was at least hoping to see daily updates to PMS to address the many many bugs and hiccups that are plaguing PLEX Arcade (like the game transcoder crashing or hanging after playing a game, or the many issues that seem to arise from having a non-standard PMS installation path). I want to support the development of this feature which is why I subscribed knowing it would be a work in progress, but that’s just it. I want to see progress, if not it might be best to cancel and try this again at a later time.

Fully agree. The release is garbage and I barely got it to work by using my gaming PC as a server and that was choppy and has no option to customize controls or anything else for that matter.
Love the concept as I have collected tons of ROMs, but I canceled my subscription until this is a real working product.
Completely agree, and I canceled as well. This is a quintessential beta product, and a one-week trial is borderline insulting, particular given that we get a one-month trial for Tidal. PlexPass members in particular should get a free trial until they have a product that works as advertised.

Hey guys just remenber it’s the beginning i agree with you the fact it’s full of little bug but we have to communicate all of this issue with logs and explanations here to the devs to enhanced this beautifull Plex idea to streaming retrogaming !

OP has exact the same thought i have. i wouldnt mind supporting them with money for a bit to see if they can come up with sth cool. but since the release there has been no updates, no roadmap, no statement to the state of things or anything. thats really disappointing and disencouraging to be invested in plex arcade.

it’s not even a beta. This is more like a public release Alpha. Beta’s should generally work but with the odd little bugs. Alpha’s are basically unstable code that WILL crash/fall over/break and the dev is expecting feedback on how/when so they can fix core code

we’re working on an update with a bunch of fixes. we were hoping to get it out this week, but didn’t quite make it. coming soon!
