I have been trying to get into these forums for hours, but each time I clicked the Login button I was directed to a page that said ‘user not found’. If I go to Plex’s Contact forms, the ‘Support’ option gleefully sends you back to the forums, noting that any support questions asked via the contact form will go unanswered (super-friendly!). So, short of directing a question to "Billing"or “Subscriptions”, where would one go?
I am puzzled. You managed to post this message, and it shows your username as well – both will be impossible without being logged in.
Basically, you don’t need to log in to the forums.
As soon as you are logged in to your plex account, you should be ready to post in the forums.
I finally got through without being redirected to the error message.
However it is still recurring intermittently . I am redirected to https://www.plex.tv/error/?plerror=1501 “Forum user not found” . It has happened from two different devices.
I can only assume that this was caused by some missing or corrupted cookies.
Did you juggle with different plex.tv accounts in this browser?
No. I’ve not got multiple accounts nor done any cookie browser. The problem has reoccurred from another laptop.
