Where/how is the <noun> used to determine sort-by Date Added?

Server Version#: 1.18.1.1973
Player Version#: 4.8.3

I’m trying to migrate onto a new plex FreeNAS 11.2-U6 iocage ‘jail’ from an old FreeNAS 9.x jail. The old plex version is 1.13.95439.

The media mounts are the same between both, /media/{movies,tv_shows}, the actual media files have been mirrored over, as well the the old installation’s Plex Media Server/*.
Various permutations I have tried:
0) created the jail.

  1. started and configured the jail.
  2. rsync’d the media.
  3. performed/let pms perform rescans.
  4. observed media shows up and is playable. It’s just ‘teh suck’ of every file showing up as having been added ‘14 days ago’.

(NOTE: jail was down/up cycled between any db/install path shenanigans)
5) rsync’d Plex Media Server/* from the old jail to the new jail. Observed it falling all over itself. (Likely schema change unpleasantness).

5’) Attemped to follow a purported solution here. This fails for similar reasons as above.

5’’) Thought perhaps the create_at column from media_parts would be a reasonable thing the Date Added sort would use. To that end, I wrote a script to get the created_at dates from the old db and update that column in the same table in the new db where file like ‘%${fname}%’. Resulting in:

$ echo "select id,created_at,file from media_parts where file is not '' limit 10;" | sqlite3 new.db

After emplacing that db, and restarting the jail/plex the sorting still shows the same w/everything being added ‘14 days ago’.

So what/where is the magical juju special thingy that must be altered/migrated/mapped from the prior installation to the new one that controls this sort order? This should.not.be.this.hard. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Thanks!

Yes…that article is effectively a subset of items 0-5 on my list.
