Just updated with version 1.3.4.3285 and the folder refresh button has been removed, why?

For all libraries it can be found under the … menu next to folder name:

(Just to clarify the option you want is update library to find new items which is what the old button in the top right did)

Those changes are annoying ! new version should bring improvements, not make the interface more complex for users to navigate. I’ve had to turn too much towards the forum lately to use a product that should be simple. I am starting to regret KODI, although not as nice, I had more control on my custom interface and where I find things !
Here some options are duplicated everywhere, others are not only in one single menu and you have to guess where. There is a huge lack of consistency and UX !
If important changes like this are done, there should be a what’s new screen after an update of the tool ! (Like Jira and Confluence do for instance)

I agree with providing an update to feature and existing feature log for changes.

OK sorry but the feature does not appear to be working now, I have added a number of new titles to a folder and the refresh and library update is not capturing them?

So, correct me if I’m wrong, “update library” just scans for new items and missing items, while “refresh all” forces a re-check of all the material and updates metadata?

That is my understanding and ‘Refresh’ is what I did for 6 hours night before last when ‘Update’ did nothing.

I will add that if you’re not using Plex Compliant file names and folder structures (particularly for TV Shows), failure is something you’d better get used to.
