Hi, I have a cable card from comcast that I want to be able to use in a tuner to get Live TV setup with my plex server.
I see people mention the HDHomerun Prime tuner which has a slot for the cable card, but that device is no longer available anywhere, I see they are releasing a new cable card tuner at some point, but I don’t want to wait around for that.
What should I use instead? The more tuners the better. My server is running on a QNAP NAS.

Definitely ebay. Had I read this 48 hours ago I would’ve given you mine (sold on ebay)
Edit- You’re definitely right. I didn’t spend much time but I can’t find anywhere to buy a new one. This is only because of the new release. I dont think you’re going to have to wait too long for the new one.
Has your cable-card previously been paired with another device (like Tivo)? I have never had any luck getting Comcast to re-pair an old card with a new device. I usually go to Comcast and requisition a brand new cable card when I set up a new device and return the old one. Same cost, less hassle.
And yep, HDHomerun Prime is the way to go. The soon-to-be-released 6 tuner will be great, but if you are just getting started an older 3 tuner Prime might be better to start with. No telling what new product pains will come with the newest 6 tuner device.
Thanks for the info. This is a brand new card so I don’t think ill have any pairing issues. Just got one from ebay, excited to try it out.
