Why, again, are you pretending you forgot my email subscription preferences, Plex?

Dear Plex (creators, administrators, spammers),

Once again, out of the blue, you have sent me a promotional email-based upon prior experience, the first of new flurry? The last time this happened, I was already unsubscribed, but I unsubscribed again. This means that I was still unsubscribed when this email arrived. I have unsubscribed again.

Suffice it to say that yours is not the only service/site that likes to forget a user’s settings from time to time, perhaps under the assumption that I am too stupid to recall whether I was ever legitimately subscribed.

Please, do not continue to insult my intelligence. A third case of preferences-amnesia, a year or few from now, would be disappointing. I am prone to understatement.
