Why does it keep asking me to claim my server?

The path for Preferences.xml is slightly different for me:
/var/lib/plex/Plex Media Server/Preferences.xml
What do I do for the Plex Server to be able to write to this file?

Can not claim server besides multiple efforts ... need help!
