Why does Plex Server keep Crashing

The Plex Server has crashed several times starting to play video.
The attached PDF has the configuration and screenshots of the Windows Event Log. I found no crash files for these events in the Plex Media Server App Data folder.

That is a heap corruption crash. Lets see what is in the logs prior to and leading up to the crash time
18th June - 12:04:03

Hoping you have debug logging already enabled
See https://support.plex.tv/articles/201643703-reporting-issues-with-plex-media-server/

and crash reporting setting also enabled (on same server setting web page)

Following next crash - download logs and attach here

I tried to reply sooner but the forum move prevented it.
Here is the Plex Logs:

sa2000,
I posted the information you requested about 15 days ago. Please review it and let me know what I should do to resolve this crashing problem.
I am attempting to access the server from the Roku client and I believe both are up to date.

Thanks

Sorry - for some reason I missed or did not get the notification for your post.

I have looked at the logs zip and yes there was a crash after 15:05:02 on June 19th. We did not produce a crash report to upload - that could be because of the type of crash. The crash as showing in the Windows Application Event log was a Heap Corruption. Crashes due to memory corruptions or memory allocation failures do fail to get produced most times.

You could see if the dump can be saved by windows
See the registry edits and information given on this support article https://support.plex.tv/articles/201455336-crash-logs-plex-media-server/
Section Crash Dumps Handled by Windows

With that change, after next crash look for a dmp file within C:\Users\John\AppData\Local\CrashDumps
Get the Plex Media Server logs zip after restart and zip and upload the dmp file to dropbox or similar service and send me link by Private Message

I suspect the crash is probably relating to hardware transcoding drivers. There have been a few in intel and nvidia drivers.

Check for any firmware / drivers updates
I see references to nvcuda.dll and h264_nvenc

After you get the dmp / diagnostics / logs, try disabling hardware acceleration in server / transcoder settings and see if the crashes go away
