I have a few 1080p Bluray extracted video at around 34Mbps H.264 + aac encoded. They strutter at most Plex Players I throw at it if I play the original quality un-transcoded, mac application, Google Chrome Browser, Google TV (Sony Bravia), Nvidia Shield Pro. I have suspected that subtitle was the culprit but no. Disabling subtitle does not help.
The same videos worked fine on iPad and iOS, be it app or web. Playing the files directly with native apps via SMB works fine as well.
I understand 38Mbps is a bit on the high side. But I have playing 4K HDR H.265 TrueHD 100Mbps on most of the players mentioned above without issue (except the Plex Player on Sony Bravia).
Is there some particular issue besides codec and bitrate, I should aware of?
