You can probably fix it for yourself for now: Allow sync without transcoding
However, it could work only with codecs that can direct play or direct stream when you’re playing them in the Plex for Windows app. Whether or not your laptop is capable of playing the files on it’s own is probably irrelevant - you can install any codecs you like in Windows, but there’s no guarantee that Plex app from the store can actually see them, it might work on internal codecs only.
