Hello!
I recently made my library folders compatible with Radarr, so rather than a folder full of movies (/movies/allFilesHere.mkv), each movie is now in a folder (/movies/MovieName (Year)/FileName.mkv )
The folders were created and each file moved via a script while plex was running.
When it came to the scheduled maintenance that evening, every movie is now going through the deep-analysis as shown in the log Plex Media Scanner Deep Analysis.log and I can see the load on the disk at 100% and each movie being read through inotifywait.
This will now take a lot of system resource to regenerate analysis that did not need to be replaced. The Plex database lists the file size in bytes and other indicative metadata. The scanner should not be triggered to run on the file when the only change is a folder location.
Is this something that the behaviour can be adjusted or tuned in a future update? Perhaps when needing to do a bulk move, an option could allow previous scanner results to not be triggered for replacement?
