Note : I just did a quick test to see if for some strange reasons this would happen only with libraries in French, but no, it happens with library in English as well :

You’re right, I just refreshed the meta data on Raise the Red Lantern and Gong Li vanished and was replaced by Wu Yigong. I’m not actually sure what sources the new agent uses to get the info, but why would Plex hard code this, it’s more likely to be downstream from Plex somewhere and will be fixed in a day or two.
I highly doubt that any central db would have this mixed up regarding Gong Li, not the case in the Movie db or IMDb for sure, at least.
So I would not be surprised if it is some kind of strange joke by a dev !
(like a fan pissed off that she took the Singaporean nationality or something)

And it is the case for all the movies she appears in, I have most of them (I admit being a fan ) : the case for all of them !
So a central DB error would require the error being present on all these movies.
I’ve forwarded this issue to the developers. Apparently it is caused by some weird identification duplication in one of our data sources.
I’m told it is not an easy fix, so it might take a while to sort it out.
