Why is Plex server causing a DNS-rebind attack?

Server Version#: 4.100.1
Player Version#:Not applicable

I just had a Warning from my fireswall.

> Nov 5 19:25:58 daemon warn dnsmasq[xxx] DNS-rebind attack detected: IP xxx-xxx-xxx-xx.abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz012345.plex.direct

(The X’es are replacement for the orginal IP)

Could anyone tell me why the server are causing a warning of a DNS-rebind attack?

Could anyone please tell me why MY plex server tries to contact plex.direct from my secondary NAS interface?

There’s no attack but this is part of how Plex establishes connections to your server.
