Why is there no tech support?

Purchased a Plex pass several weeks ago. Have had a post in the LG tv forum since. Nothing. Not a peep from anyone on how to solve my problems.

I have also been using Emby and I have received a response to any question within 24 hours. Too bad as I had high hopes for Plex.

As for your LG post. You may be running a really old version of the Plex. My sister has an LG and I could’t believe how old her Plex rev was. I recommended she get a streaming device (the Roku Ultra was 50% off for Thanksgiving in the US where she lives) just to keep her current.

Brand new late 2019 model of LG tv. Just installed it from the app store.

Would be interested to know the when the last plex support user actually responded to an issue in this forum. I’ve got two posts that are many many weeks old with bugs that have not been picked up yet or fixed.

Plex must be swamped with DVR issues from looking at the recent media server fix lists, so the team must be focused on those as a priority.

To me the XBOX client multispawn plex transcoder issue is also a P1 problem that needs addressing.

The one time they did respond after I corrupted my database some how. It was quite through though.

It really seems like Plex just didn’t charge enough to actually provide anything resembling consistent customer service.

The support is the same with or without plex pass.
