Trying to get solutions from PLEX tech support is virtually impossible as they don’t have any form of contact methods such as emals, etickets or online CHAT. Maybe I’m wrong but it looks like the only support to its users is by other users in this self help Forum. Sure some problems get resolved but this method but others don’t.
It also seems like Plex support don’t have to time to read posts here either. For example the Plex APP for Amazon Fire TV has been broken for Dolby Digital 5.1 etc and can only output stereo to AV receivers. This usse has been going on since July and still no reply from Plex.
Is it too much to ask for Plext to set up REAL tech support for its paying customers?
It has been discussed by Plex in the past. Currently the forums are the only way to get support.
That is the way it is.
You are not paying for Tech Support, you are paying for: https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/202526943-Plex-Free-vs-Paid
It may change in the future but I would not hold my breath.

Plex answered a thousand times about the FireTV issues.
