Why my Managed user always play English Audio

Hello,

I have a Plex Server that is configured in French, Default audio language French and for my managed user, when he play a movie with a Plex App (Apple TV Plex App, Windows 10 Plex App), the audio is in English by Default

Is there any way to change that?

Should be in the client settings of the Apple TV for that user.
If I remember correctly, Plex defaults to English for all users, not the language of the admin.

  1. go into the web app
  2. ‘become’ your managed user by ‘Switch User’
  3. Account - Audio & Subtitle settings, tick the checkbox ‘Automatically select audio and subtitle tracks’
  4. select the desired language for audio and subtitle tracks
  5. set subtitle mode to ‘shown with foreign language audio’
  6. ‘Save Changes’
  7. switch back to your user account

After wards, you may have to restart the used client or perform a ‘user switch’ back and forth.
