Why the Plex Player cant easy crop the Image?

Hi,

i only found a thread 3 years ago.. Remove Black Bars - #13 by JuiceWSA

I wont crop all the Media, the most i cant crop, cause its bought and secured.
The Mobile Player can stretch and more. Why the desktop player not?

Ugly with Trailer of Star Trek:

The most Videos i simply need to zoom in, but my TV cant Zoom in. The Aspect Ratio is correct.

Which Plex client software are you actually using?

Chromecast App or Desktop PC App (Version 1.62.2.3451-fb8ac0ae)

I’m not sure that anything can be done about Chromecast (except cropping your video source files).

But for the Desktop app (and Plex HTPC too) this can be solved: Inputmaps not working on Plex for Windows, working on HTPC - #6 by German
