Will downloading of Playlists / Smart Playlists be returning?

I use smart playlists to keep the 5 or so latest episodes and videos for a few titles ready to go at the gym. After watching and coming home I would open Plex on my iPad, the episode would be marked watched on the server, they playlist would update, the watched episode is removed from my iPad and a new episode would download. Now it looks like I can’t download playlists at all. Will this be returning at some point?

The announcement thread mentions a few improvements for downloads, e.g. downloading seasons. I haven’t seen an official statement on downloading playlists (yet).

I share your frustration. Can’t believe I can’t download a Playlist anymore on this new app. I created a feature request, so please vote.
