Does Plex not supporting the Tidal Max API have anything to do with Tidal being removed from Plex altogether? It appears the only “answer” we’ve gotten about this is that Tidal was the one who decided to pull the plug, but surely they gave you an explanation? Was it technical, financial, or something else?
The answer I’ve seen in another thread is that Plex wasn’t told why, they were just told that support had to end.
I have my own speculation as to why this has happened. It’s not terribly hard to guess, but I think the shaky status of Tidal as a company possibly combined with a shift in business strategy would have something to do with this. So yes, I’d say it’s likely financial reasons.
