Will Plex for PS look as sharp as PMP?

PMP embedded UI is sharp af.

It looks mint.

My PS4 with the Plex app with the same UI. Just isn’t as sharp.

[yes I’ve checked settings, both running 4:3 SD - JOKE!]

Love the UI. Hate the soft edges!

Plex for PS4 will in many cases fall back to transcoding where PMP will not, and therefore not look as sharp.

Plex on PS4 relies on Sonys player for third parties. Sony will have to expand the codec and container support in order to resolve this. An update from Plex will not make a difference in this regard.
