Will there be a Plex update for older Samsung TVs? (2015)

Hello,

I have the Samsung un50ju6500f (49.5" Samsung UN50JU6500 - Specifications) That page lists Tizen as the OS. The TV hasn’t retrieved an OS update in over a year I think.

I recently reinstalled the Plex app from Samsung. The date listed is 2018.

Will there be an update for my older TV? Is it possible?
The UI on the 2018 app looks dated.

I would love to see a new look on this app.

Nope, unless a 3.Party makes a fresh from the bottom client

The Client you currently use, was newer an official Plex Client, but a 3.Party one, that is no longer maintained

For our 2012 Samsung TV, we just got a Roku device and use the Plex app that installed OK on that.
