Windows 11 Plex Crashing

Server Version#: 1.31.3.5081-e362dc1ee
Player Version#: 1.35.1.2632-c6783c78

Ever since I updated my main PC to Windows 11, which is not running the server itself, the player on my W11 PC will not open. It isn’t giving any particular error messages and doesn’t appear to be outright crashing, however the app only appears on the task bar and no window every pops up.

I’ve reinstalled the player several times to no success. I’ve tried organizing the window by holding the Windows Key + Arrow keys to see if the player was stuck just out of reach of the screen, all to no succes.

Is anyone else having this issue? I’m assuming it’s an issue relating to Windows 11.

I have been having this exact problem. I have the latest desktop player installed and on Windows 11. I can launch the desktop player, but as soon as I type in my passcode and the plex interface loads it freezes and says not responding in the titlebar. I have to kill the player in task manager. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. What’s extra weird is that I can use the guest account no problem, but when I try to log into my account it freezes after log in. Everything works fine on all of my WIndows 10 pc’s and the web player.
