Is there a way to record shows that are not currently in the program guide? For example, setup a new recording for a series that is currently on hiatus (like a wishlist on a TiVo)?

Please provide the feature that is common with windows media center, directv, and various other DVRs to be able to set an auto record. I would like to be able to record all “movies” with “Cary Grant” in them that were made in the 1950s. This is the only weakness I have seen in PLEX. Please add this feature to the DVR.
It would be interesting to see if any sort of api could be provided into things like the guide data - for searching/etc. Then in theory people could help extend the product with all sorts of ways to digest your guide and generate recordings etc.
