WMA Audio replay is stuttering

I am experiencing stuttering issues on .wma Audio files (Stereo). The files are fine if played directly as wma on any device.
But when playing through plex (on PC, Android, Alexa) there is horrible stutering / popping noises like bad Encoding or skipping CD.
Is there a Setting to force high Quality Encoding for wma?
Also the synchronized local Version of the files on the Android device has exaclty the same issues.

I saw two other users coplaining about this. Is there any Workaround? forums.plex.tv/discussion/299586/audio-popping-sound-audio-glitch

I have found a wokraround:

  1. searched for *.wma on my Music Database
  2. selected all of them and added them to a Playlist in VLC
  3. saved .m3u Playlist in VLC
  4. loaded Job (m3u file) in Fre:ac Free Audio converter
  5. selected LAME mp3 Encoder and set path to save to --> use original Folder
  6. checked “delete source file after Encoding” (optional)
  7. started to process
  8. DONE and happy

    This took about 1 hour for 1000 files which is ok in my opinion
